If the distance from the antenna to the access point is no more than 25 metres, there is a highly cost-effective solution: mount the ATEX antenna in the hazardous area and connect it via coax cable to a standard access point positioned outside. This means you can use any access point of your choice, with no ATEX-rated access point required.
