These are very attractive cards of good quality. The current price makes them really great value. The tuck boxes are plain, but the designs are modern and appealing; my teenage daughter loved both designs, but we chose the shop for our first game. The pips are clear, standard English designs. My daughter was a bit disappointed with the clubs as she’s enjoying her French playing cards! The Ace of Wands with the Simon Lucas branding design was appreciated by all of the family though. They shuffle well, but my wife isn’t as careful and I did notice a few edges were ‘blunted’ after a few rounds (I’m trying to demonstrate gentler ways of shuffling!!). I’m regretting not asking for samples of the Premium quality cards or plastic cards to save separate postage to see if they are more robust for less experienced players. Oh well. I certainly don’t want to ‘save money’ on flimsy, disposable cards. Highly recommended for nice, cheerful cards.
